Detailed Tour Itinerary
The 1 day Rwanda Gorilla tour is one of the Rwanda Safaris or tours for those with a short time in Rwanda. The exclusive gorilla trekking tour starts with an early pick up from Kigali at 4:30 am for a transfer to Volcanoes National Park. You are expected at the park by 7:00 am and a 4:30 am pick-up is ideal. Get to the park early enough for a briefing about the rules and regulations while on a gorilla trek.
You will then be guided for mountain gorilla tracking taking 1 to 6 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas. Once you get to the mountain gorillas, you will stay in their presence for an hour taking photos and knowing more about them. After this memorable encounter, you will head back to the park headquarters amidst sighting of other wildlife in the park especially birds. You are awarded certificates of participation, a drive back to Kigali, or a drop off of your preference depending on schedule.
