Virunga national park is located in Eastern DRC and its among the oldest national parks in Africa. This world heritage site protects the rare mountain gorillas alongside other rare wildlife species including golden monkeys.

The park is by far the most diverse national park in east and central Africa with wildlife species and ecosystems from tropical montane to savannas. Some of the most outstanding attractions here include mount Nyiragongo one of Africa’s most active volcanoes. Mountain gorillas are classics, golden monkeys, birds, beautiful landscapes, lake Kivu and the Virunga volcanoes.

Amboseli national park is located near the Kenya and Tanzania border and its the best place in Kenya to see mount Kilimanjaro. The park is famous for the herds of elephants seen freely roaming the plains on the footsteps of mount Kilimanjaro.

The park is home to other wildlife that include leopards, cheetahs, mongoose, lesser kudus, and over 600 bird species. Major activities that can be done here include game drives, birding, mountain climbing, guided walks among others.
