Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Samburu National Reserve (5 to 6 hours drive)
Your driver guide will pick you up from the airport or hotel in Nairobi for a drive to Samburu National Reserve. Have en-route stopovers for photography and proceed to the reserve arriving at the lodge for a hot lunch. You will then go for game drives to see the park’s variety of wildlife. Later you will be driven to your lodge for a rest and overnight.
Day 2: Full Day Game Drives in Samburu National Reserve
This day will be dedicated to game drives searching for wildlife you missed seeing on the first day. You will have an early morning game drive ideal with many chances of spotting wildlife. After a lunch break, you will go back for game drives and end the day with a beautiful sunset viewing.
Day 3: Transfer to Lake Nakuru National Park
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Lake Nakuru National Park situated in the Kenyan Rift Valley region. You will have a lunch break and then head out to explore the park’s famous wildlife. Look out for flamingos, White Rhinos, zebras, buffaloes, and many other species the park has to offer. Meals and overnight at your lodge.
Day 4: Game Drive and Transfer to Lake Naivasha
You will have breakfast and a game drive as you exit the park for a transfer to Lake Naivasha. Pass via Hell’s Gate National Park for a game drive and hiking and proceed to Lake Naivasha for check-in. You will later go for a boat cruise along the lake seeing Hippos plus other aquatic animals in the lake. End the day with an African sun setting over the horizon.
Day 5: Head to Masai Mara Game Reserve
On this day after breakfast and check out, you will embark on a 6 hours drive to Masai Mara. You will have en-route stopovers for photography if you want to and proceed to the lodge for hot lunch. Later head out for game drives viewing wildlife in the reserve and return to your lodge for a rest.
Day 6: Game Drives in Masai Mara
You will spend this day in the wild having a full wildlife blast of the Mara ecosystem. Look out for predators like lions & leopards, rhinos, buffaloes, herds of elephants as well as a number of birds.
Day 7: Transfer back to Nairobi (5 to 6 hours drive)
Go for a game drive as you exit the park for a transfer back to Nairobi. You will arrive in the evening for a drop off at your Hotel or airport for departure depending on schedule.
