Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival & Transfer to your Hotel
You will be picked up from the airport on arrival and driven to your Nairobi Hotel for a rest after a long flight.
Day 2: Transfer to Samburu National Reserve
After breakfast at your Nairobi hotel, you will be driven to Samburu National Reserve a safari destination with various wildlife species. You will arrive in time for a rest and can later go for a game drive to explore the park.
Day 3: Game drives
Have breakfast and go for game drives where you will see several wildlife including elephants, zebras, water-bucks, impalas, and many others. You will also see several birds present in the park. Later you will head to your lodge for meals and overnight.
Day 4: Head to Aberdare National Park
Depart Samburu in the morning after breakfast for a transfer to Aberdare Mountain Ranges. You will arrive at the lodge in time for lunch after which you will go to explore the park’s wildlife including lions, baboons, and colobus monkeys among others. You will later return to your lodge for meals and overnight.
Day 5: Lake Nakuru National Park
On this day you will transfer to Lake Nakuru National Park arriving in time for Lunch and then go out to enjoy wildlife. The lake is most famous for flamingos and other bird species as well as rhinos, zebras, gazelles, and giraffes many of which you will see while on game drives.
Day 6: Lake Nakuru National Park to Lake Naivasha
Start the day with breakfast and then transfer to Lake Naivasha. The lake is a freshwater lake with several wildlife including hippos. Many bird species will be spotted here and these can be seen while on boat cruises or a nature walk.
Day 7: Lake Naivasha to Masai Mara
Depart for Masai Mara early morning arriving at the reserve in time for Lunch. After lunch, you will go for game drives where you will enjoy the wildlife in the park. End the day with views of a beautiful African sunset.
Day 8: Full Day Safari Excursions
You will spend this day exploring the best of Masai mara where you will see big cats, big five mammals, wildebeest, and a variety of birds. See most of this wildlife on game drives on the different trails the reserve has.
Day 9: Full Day Masai Mara
Spend this day as well exploring the wildlife in Masai Mara game reserve. You can go birding or visit a Masai community.
Day 10: Departure
After having breakfast you will have a game drive as you exit Masai Mara for a transfer back to Nairobi for departure depending on schedule.
